Cancellation Policy
1. Tentative Nature of Harvest: Sod is a living, perishable product. All delivery dates are tentative and subject to change based on weather and field conditions. Simple Sod NC is not liable for delays caused by nature.
2. Customer-Initiated Cancellations/Rescheduling: Because sod is scheduled and harvested specifically for your order and cannot be re planted, the following fees apply to cancellations or rescheduling requests. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to waive or reduce these fees if we are able to re-assign your harvest slot to another customer.
3. Authorization Agreement: By checking the "I Agree" box and proceeding with this order, you authorize Simple Sod NC to settle a portion of your authorized funds as a cancellation fee in accordance with the schedule above.
4. Business Day Definition: For the purposes of this policy, Business Days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Cancellations for Monday deliveries must be received by 12:00 PM the preceding Friday.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Examples To be fair to our harvest crews and other customers, we use a 12:00 PM (Noon) cut-off for all schedule changes.
I have read and agree to the Sod Harvest & Cancellation Policy, including the potential fees for late-notice changes (12:00 PM cut-off applies)."
"Note: We always strive to be flexible. If we are able to successfully re-allocate your sod to another customer at the last minute, we may waive or significantly reduce the fees above at our sole discretion."
